Dalva: Film Review

This is for the DVD which was released 2005. The film itself was done in 1995, according to the ending credits although IMDB lists 1996. It stars

It's a very sweet story, slow in a few places but with two great romantic scenes between Farrah Fawcett and Powers Boothe...though not on the level of scenes in 'A Breed Apart' and 'The...

Well, happy 10th anniversary 'Sudden Death'!

Karen Baldwin is credited for writing this story, and she and
director Peter Hyams have worked together elsewhere. In fact, some of
these people seem to have formed a close nucleur team similar to that
as James Garner and Richard Dean Anderson for a number of projects. I
did sneak some looks at some online reviews; most (actually all) of
which were negative. I'm sorry to see this because I think the film

'Sudden Death' Audiobook

I got this some time ago from Amazon.com, and I think they have at
least one right now. It's two cassettes, about three hours. I've
listened a little bit but it's really fantastic.

I might have this backwards, but first there was a movie, then a
novel. This is the audiobook based on the novel. And just from the
beginning, I can tell you this much: The opening scene from the
video, McCord (Van Dam)runs into a burning building to save a child
but she dies in his arms....

Michael Moore--it's a long story) I came across this info. I won't
give the link on here, I took out the name of the city and some other
identifying info just in case this made its way accidentally to the

Jerry Goldsmith has died

Even if you don't know his name you have probably heard his music; I
think he is best known for his contributions to Star Trek television
show and feature films. I own more of his music in my soundtrack
collection than any other person. He along with Alexander Courage,
wrote the music for the Powers Boothe/Nick Nolte film 'Extreme
Prejudice', the only PB film soundtrack I have.

This film stars Nick Nolte and Powers Boothe. I don't have time to
review teh film itself, jsut the DVD format it is on.

I ordered this on DVD from Amazon.com and didn't notice it was full-
sceen (meaning the edges are cut off) which I found really annoying.
Apparently I got the last one they have for now, for it isn't listed
now. There are no bonuses on it except a trailer I think. I'll keep
an eye out for a widescreen version if there is one.

Deadwood

Powers Boothe is set to star in Deadwood (Sunday evenings HBO)in its
third episode. Last night I saw the first episode.

Everything I heard about it is true. This is not your mother's HBO.
There is nudity, violence, and the language YiYiYi.

`Extereme Prejudice' Soundtrack Review

I'm not even sure I have this movie. When I did acquire this CD, it
was long out of print and you don't want to know how much I paid for
it. Now, you can order it from Amazon.com for $25.98. Apparently it
was rereleased in November of 1992. The date on my soundtrack is
1987. The CD was released by Intrada Records (God bless those
people) and it was made in Canada. The music was performed by the
Hungarian State Opera Orchestra....

I was doing a search on Powers Boothe and his 1980 Emmy, and I found
